Atlantic City New Jersey has everything that most vacationers are
looking for. The have great beaches, shopping, gambling and shows. Atlantic City is on Absecon island along the Jersey
shoreline has been on of the more popular tourist attractions since
1854.

Atlantic City has been known as the forerunner for the game Monopoly
but I can say that for sure. Atlantic City now is known for the many
casinos that dot the boardwalk. Donald Trump from the television show
"The Apprentice" owns a few of the bigger ones. Atlantic City
like the Taj Mahal, draws
many people every year for the beaches and the things they offer for
vacationer to do.
Some of the things people enjoy about Atlantic City besides the

is also there, it's a place that has
some very amazing things inside it and definitely is a must see when
you go to Atlantic City.
The Atlantic City Boardwalk is still the favorite among all who
visit it. You can find almost anything at the gift shops that
line the boardwalk.The restaurants serve almost anything you
can imagine. They even have the world famous salt water taffy.
If you are going to stroll the boardwalk it might be worth it to
take one of the many jitney's. This way you save your energy for
the nightlife. |
The Beaches at Atlantic City
The beaches are what a lot of people come to Atlantic City for and
there is plenty for everyone. The view of the ocean will leave you
speechless. Bring your camera as you will want to capture the scenes
of Atlantic City and all the fun you will have here. There is also
some cool places along the boardwalk to take pictures of the
sunsetting.
The latest attraction to Atlantic city is the shops that are
popping up all over the place. There are shops such as Coach and
others that are taking up shop within a few blocks of the casinos.
There also is a major redesign of the shops that are in the hotels.
Ceasars just spent millions when they redid the new shops that has
everyone talking. The Havana theme has been a huge hit with shoppers.
I am amazed at the crowds going to Atlantic city for shopping.
The few blocks around the Atlantic city bus terminal is bursting at
the seems with new brand name stores. It really is a good turn around
story in Atlantic city. This place use to be known for gambling and
the beach but that all changed around 2004 when major retailers took
notice and opened up shop.
