Statue Of Liberty One Of New York's Finest Attractions
by K Watkins
Nothing say's freedom better than a visit to the first lady of New
York. You may ask who is the first lady of New York, of course it's
the Statue Of Liberty. Given to the United States by France the Statue
Of Liberty is one of the most visited attraction in the United States.
The Stature Of Liberty is located on a 12 acre Liberty Island in the
New York Harbor. It's one example of universal symbols of democracy
and political freedom. Inside the Statue of Liberty they can see
beautiful monument work and they can also walk on the observation deck
which shows a beautiful view of New York City and the Harbor. The
torch on the liberty hasn't been accessible since 1916.
Many improvements have been made to the Statue Of Liberty as the years
haven taken a toll on lady Liberty. Major improvements continue today
and visitors continue to this Landmark that France gave the united
states.
The Statue of Liberty was officially designated a national
Monument in 1924. It's one of New York's symbols of freedom and most
visited sites in New York.
Nothing will ever replace what Lady Liberty stands for and the view
from the Statue Of Liberty is just breathtaking. It one place that
will forever stand the test of time and be an attraction that people
will flock to for years to come.
If you don't want to go to Liberty Island and pay the cost of a
ferry you can take a free Staten Island Ferry as it goes right past
the statue. It is a great way to get pictures without paying for a
ferry.
