New York City - What To Do In The City That Never Sleeps by Jack Hilton

New York City is a great place to spend a vacation. With so many tourist attractions there is so many places to visit it takes more than one vacation to see them all. One thing you need to do is take in a show.

There are many places in New York City that has a good show. At any time you can see a great play or performance at the legendary Apollo theater.

To see who is performing there at the time of your trip just use one of the links on the left and start your search. You may also want to take in a sports match or a concert in the legendary Madison Square Garden.

If you are interested in booking a trip to New York City the best place to get a hotel room is in the middle of Manhattan this way you are close to everything.

Times Square is the place I would recommend when booking a hotel room. Most of the big name hotel brands have hotels there.

New York Tourist Attractions

The Statue of Liberty is probably one of the most things that people associate with New York City , but there is so much more to see than just the lady in New York Harbor. You can stroll down Broadway at night and see the millions of lights that make up the great white way.  Traveling to New York City? You can go shopping in Bloomingdales, the list of things to do is just endless. New York City is so much fun and there is always a cheap hotel room there so you can spend more money on yourself while you are there.

The Empire State Building is one of the most visited places in New York City. They have a great observation deck that overlooks the city and the views are just breathtaking. What most people don't know is the Empire state building also has a great ride that simulates a helicopter ride over the city. It is called the Skyride and well worth the money it cost.

Another thing we see people is people searching for a hotel near Bloomingdales or other popular New York City shopping destinations.

Times Square has really changed since the 1970's when it was not a place you would like to be. The place has changed a great deal and is very family oriented as names like Disney have flocked to the area. Former Mayor Giuliani really deserves credit for cleaning up the streets and making Times square a fun place to visit. Like they say if you stand there long enough you will meet everyone in the world. It truly is the meeting place of the world.

Yankee Stadium

Yankee Stadium is also another place to visit. Even if you are not a Yankee fan this place holds history of a time that has been long forgotten. The house that Babe Ruth built is a must see if you come to New York City.
