Portland Oregon The Great West Getaway That Everyone Loves

Portland is just far enough away from most major area's but big
enough for you to have an enjoyable time. Portland in recent years has
become a travel destination that people are starting to mention more
when they talk about vacations.
Many of Portland newest hotels have things you just don't find in
other cities. One of my personal favorites is the Hotel Lucia, it has
your normal beautiful spacious rooms all the things to run your
business from and great service.
There is one thing that sets it apart from others. You can actually
order what kind of pillow you want. Yes, that's right order your
favorite pillow and have it brought to you. They really care about
your comfort here as you can.
The Benson Hotel feels more like a high price country club than one of
Portland's finest hotels. Sport stars and movie stars frequent this
classy hotel. A fireplace and large plush couches adorn the lobby.
Plus it has a business center high speed Internet and twin phone lines
for your convenience. This is one hotel that's elegance at an
affordable price.
The City Of Roses
Portland has been dubbed the City Of Roses for the sheer number of
bushes that thrive throughout the city. Portland also built a building
just to test roses and it's called the International Rose Test Garden.
The Oregon Historical Society Museum is a great place to find out
about the history of Portland and Oregon at the same time. Yes Oregon
has a zoo, and it's one that doesn't get a lot of press but one of the
finest ones around.
