Things To Do, Places To Stay In South Beach Florida
You can go shopping during the day on Lincoln road! That's right I
said shopping. I know you are not thinking shopping when you are
thinking of South Beach but they have some of the best stores in the
world all in one place.
When you think of sunny south Florida you probably think of babes in
bikinis but that is not what this city is all about. This city just a
few minutes from downtown Miami is all about it's nightlife.
After a tough day of window shopping on Lincoln road you can stop into
one of the world famous restaurants and get a good meal before heading
out to the clubs. Trust me you need to have a good meal in your
stomach to absorb the alcohol that goes hand in hand with the clubs.
Before we talk about the clubs lets talk more about things to do
during the day. If you like to look at beautiful people wearing hardly
anything you have to head over to the beach. You never know what you
may see there as we came across a co ed volleyball game going on that
the losers had to go naked and strip down by the water for all to see.
I was happy the guys won myself but enough about that. You have to see
it for yourself. Speaking of volleyball they have tournaments on the
beach all the time with the most famous being Volleypalooza
If you are serious about spending time in sunny South Beach you have
to spend a few days to take in all the sights. They have many hotels
such as the Albion Hotel, it has everything that you would want for
rest and relaxation and If you like art deco you have to stay in the
art deco district. Another choice is the Greenview Hotel. It is only
one block off Collins avenue and it is very modern. I like the
poolside bar myself. If you want to stay right on Collins Avenue then
I suggest the Riande Continental. Of course these places are more then
just a spot to lay down your head after a long night of dancing.
Speaking of dancing the hottest places to visit a few clubs like Opium
Gardens and my favorite Mangos. At Opium you can dance into the night
to some of the hottest music on the planet. If you want to see some of
the hot bodies from all over the world you have to go to Mango's.
I really can't tell you anymore then that as it is something that you
have to see for yourself. You have a few choices on where to hang out
once you get inside but I always choose to go upstairs and get a
table. There is more room for you and you can always join in the fun
downstairs anytime you want.
Cold exotic drinks and hot guys and girls dancing is the perfect
combination for a long night of fun.
