I will bet you didn't know that when you book a travel package with
hotel airfare and rental car all at the same time you can save a lot
of money.
Discount Travel Packages
When you take the time to look for a travel package online I am
sure you want to get the biggest discount. What you don't know
is that when you book these discount travel packages by themselves
they will cost you more money than planned. This is because most of
the companies and travel websites get together to make offers to each
other that the average consumer would not know about.
The rental car companies know what weekend or what week is slow for
them so they will offer the travel sites a discount that week so they
rent more cars. If you were to go online to a rental car company you
would never see this discount.
Sometimes the rental car company has exclusive deals with the
hotels in the neighborhood or maybe they own part of the hotel chain.
or the other way around so it is in the best interest of both to make
sure they are under cutting the competition on travel packages.
Since cruise ships often leave from a few ports like
New York City
or Miami they often make deals with airlines so that their customers
get the lowest price for airfare. Most of the time the travel websites
will buy a block of airline tickets so that they get the lowest price
and then pass on the savings to the people booking a cruise.
This is just a few tips on saving money on travel packages and
something to keep in mind when booking a trip because I want you to
save as much money as you can so you have more to spend on souvenirs
