Las Vegas - Golf and Gambling are King
by K Watkins
Las Vegas has always been known as the gambling capital of the
world. Hotels here are a thing of beauty. More and more hotels pop up
each and every year trying to bigger and better than the last one that
was built. The Wynn hotel is the latest to go up and what a great job
they did on that hotel and casino. Las Vegas is one of the favorite
vacation spots in the world.
The Golden Nugget as it's known has been a fixture in Las Vegas for
a long time. It has everything you could want when your on vacation.
It houses Vegas shows, many forms of gambling and some very beautiful
rooms for your enjoyment. In Las Vegas gambling is king.
If you like glamour and glitz then the Ritz-Carlton which opened in
2003 surely won't disappoint you at all. Built near Lake Las Vegas,
the Ritz has over 300 rooms some overstretching the water and is a
gambling free hotel, some people like it that way.
Championship golf is just minutes away for the avid golfer. The
Ritz-Carlton is situated in the mountains and only 20 minutes from the
Vegas strip. Not that far away at all if you ask me.
Golf In Las Vegas
Now that your in Las Vegas what should you do? Las Vegas has many
shows and gambling will always be the bread and butter in Las Vegas.
You have so much to choose from besides gambling and Las Vegas shows.
Golf is another popular thing to do in Las Vegas and keeps growing in
popularity. Steve Wynn just built a brand new golf course that is
world class. I think you have to be a hotel guest to play there
though. If you are lucky you may even see Brian Littleton putting
around the course.
Nascar racing is another option as Las Vegas now has a race every
year. High stakes and high risk racing is enough to get your blood
pumping. Whatever you choose it will be fun, remember what happens in
Vegas stays in Vegas.
